Therapeutic indications

For treatment of hypo- and B1 vitamin deficiency /beriberi/; poisoning with bracken /Pteridium aquilinum/ and horsetail /Equisetum arwense/, with sulfanilamide, with arsenic and lead compounds; in case of peripheral paralysis, neuritis and neuralgia; for heart and liver disorders; forestomach and small intestine atony; dermatitis; as an auxiliary treatment of infectious diseases; at internal application of sulfanilamides, nitrofuran compounds and antibiotics; in case the fodder is rich in carbohydrates.
